This winter I have done several unprecedented things: 1) bought (and wear incessantly) a cozy bathrobe 2) wore pants. A lot. I hate pants of all kinds so this says volumes about the terrible Michigan winter we have had and 3) learned how to crochet. Yes, I have finally unleashed my inner retiree and I kinda love her.
It's just that I feel most myself in that demographic. Be it the early bird special at local restaurants or mid-morning matinees, you can often find Warren and me kicking it very old school style. So, to celebrate the fifth year of this blog's existence and to not-so-humble-brag about my new obsession with crocheting, I am giving away a lovely sedge-stitched crochet cowl to one of my dear readers! Hooray!

*I used Aesthetic Nest's lovely Sedge Stitch Cowl Tutorial as the base for this cowl (her pattern makes a smaller but very lovely cowl).
